Community Work: Creating Access to Opportunities for Rural Students in Sindh
My Mission
To provide free, practical guidance to 1,000 students and graduates from rural Sindh over the next two years, helping them discover and access opportunities in higher education, employment, scholarships and skill development.
Students and graduates from rural areas can face a significant information gap when exploring opportunities available in larger urban centres such as Karachi. Many opportunities may be accessible to them, but they may not know where to look, how to apply, what qualifications are required, or which skills are currently valued by employers.
I want to help reduce this information gap.
Having experienced the challenges of navigating education and employment opportunities myself, I want to use what I have learned to provide free and practical guidance to students and graduates who may have limited access to professional networks or career counselling.
What I Aim to Provide
Through my website and other educational platforms, I aim to help students and graduates understand:

Free Personalized Guidance
I also intend to provide free personalized guidance to students and graduates who need help deciding which opportunities may be suitable for them.
Through a simple online form, individuals can provide information such as their education, interests, skills and career goals. I will then do my best to suggest relevant opportunities, possible career paths and areas where they could further develop their skills.
I will not guarantee employment, admission or scholarships. Decisions ultimately belong to universities, employers and scholarship organizations.
My purpose is to help people find opportunities, understand requirements and make better-informed decisions.
My Two-Year Goal

I will measure the progress of this initiative through meaningful engagement rather than simply counting website visitors.
I hope to document:

Where appropriate, and with informed consent, anonymized and aggregated information may also be used for research into education, graduate employment, skills gaps and access to opportunities.
Why I'm Doing This
I believe that where someone is born should not determine how much information they have about their future opportunities.
A student living in a rural area of Sindh may have the ability to study at a university in Karachi, apply for a corporate graduate programme, pursue an international scholarship, or learn a skill demanded by employers but may simply lack the information needed to take the first step.
I want to help bridge that gap.
I cannot create every opportunity, but I can help people discover the opportunities that already exist.
This is my small contribution toward expanding access to education, employment, scholarships and skills for the young people of rural Sindh.
